Advantages of LED Lighting
Suncreat LEDs have a compelling advantage over High Intensity Discharge lighting. Whether replacing existing HID lights or starting from scratch, LED is a better choice. LED lights are easily interchangeable with HIDs, greatly simplify a grow room operation, and provide a cost effective way to go green.
According to our experiences and feedback, plants grown under LED produce higher quality flowers. Our R&D department decided to put these observations to the test.
Fine-Tuned Color Spectrum
Suncreat uses its own Quad Band color spectrum, which we have developed through our research and experimental trials. We have discovered that while plant flowers respond best to the red and deep red wavelengths, vegetative/leafy growth responds more to the blue wavelengths. The Suncreat product line is the perfect example of this principle.
At Suncreat, we are constantly experimenting with our products to set the pace of innovation that our customers expect and deserve. We were the first to introduce 660nm wavelengths, the first to introduce 2 watt and 3 watt chips, and the first to introduce full-spectrum light. We have tested countless variables including, but not limited to, spectrum (including visible, UV and infrared light), intensity chip size, and chip arrangement.
The results were unexpected – we have found that a broader spectrum is NOT necessarily an advantage. The best results were ultimately achieved with our Quad Band lights. We went as far as to test a light with an 11-band spectrum, but found that because of the varying power requirements of the diverse range of chips, we could only run the light at a substandard intensity. In essence, the lower wattage chips were preventing us from running the high wattage chips at their full potential.
We quickly realized that the best solution was to keep the spectrum simple but powerful. After several trials, we found that using 4 varieties of chips allowed for the best ratio of spectrum to power efficiency. After we had established the ideal spectrum, all that was left was to optimize INTENSITY…

Advantages in Vegetative Growth
While Suncreat has been dedicated to creating the LED bloom light of the future, we have not forgotten that in order to achieve greatness later in life, one must first start with a proper foundation. Our fixture was designed to give your resinous flowers the best initial growth cycle they could possibly have - outperforming even the best Metal Halide bulb. The spectrum of our VEG light is fine-tuned to emit an ideal ratio of blue/red/full-spectrum light for the vegetative cycle, which results in phenomenal leaf growth and tighter inter-nodal spacing.
Our lamp fixture designed for flowering, also include far more blue spectrum light than any HPS. During vegetative growth, plants will only absorb the light they require. We include more than enough blue light to promote vigorous, healthy, and tightly spaced vegetative growth. Therefore our SG 602 and 1250 HO models are more than adequate for Vegetative as well as Flowering cycles.
Growing indoors mean you have to carefully maintain all factors affecting plant growth: Light, nutrients and water, and environment… All factors must be in order to have a successful harvest. Environment includes, temperature, humidity, CO2, air circulation, etc. 95% of environment related problems are a result of excess heat. Being able to easily control heat mean being able to easily control your environment.
Our led grow light with fixture run around 87-93° Fahrenheit at the panel while our VEG light runs at around 94-98° at the panel. Each light requires less than 1,000 BTUs of air conditioning to cool!
